Farmall C

The American build Farmall C was purchased in 2010 via Trade Me. Located in Gisborne.  This created its own issue in that getting it from Gisbourne to Nelson was as expensive as the tractor itself..  Thankfully the vendors were cooperative and it was driven on and off the truck and delivered as promnised to the museum where it is stored.
Was given to previous owner from farmer who had owned the tractor from new.
The majority of the model C tractors in New Zealand are of French origin (eg: FC-C).
The American made ones are less common.

This model fits between the larger model H and the A (and variants).  No Cultivision so you sit in-line.  Great view from the driving position and nice to drive.

A few things to sort out.
Hard to start- mag & plugs need a clean.
Transmission whine. Probably some oil followed by bearings.
Missing-Lights, Battery box, battery, fenders.
Otherwise all there and will do up really well.

I started collecting vintage machinery in the late 1990's. It took a while to refine what I collected. Now it is anything International Harvester. No I dont have a farm, I live in suburbia in Nelson, New Zealand.
